That 70's Man..

We are in a series at church called "The Years". We have been looking at each generation starting with the 50's. We have looked at the sexual revolution in the 60's and this week we looked at the scandal and distrust of the 70's. Greg was asked to do the monologue drama (skit) at church this weekend. He was the 70's.
The 70's was upset at how society had forgotten him in-between the 60's and the 80's.

We had a lot of fun with this one. He wore an actual 70's outfit that belonged to my dad and we found a white belt and white shoes at the thrift store. The brand name on the white shoes.... "Saturday Knights". Charlie (our pastor) got a huge kick out of Greg's outfit and even gave a little history behind it in service. My dad, who was there to see Greg, enjoyed it. :)

Greg was given a wig and a mustache for the drama and our job was to style it in a 70's style. We googled 70's male hair styles and did our best. He looked like he had just stepped out of the 70's by the time we were done with him.

See for yourself....

You know you really love a person when you can look at them in an outfit such as this and think.... wow, he looks good... or shall I say "He is one cool cat". :)

Below is a video of Greg getting his groove on at church.
